Woodruff Walton was one of the richest men in the country. An extraordinary intuition for doing business combined with an unscrupulous nature allowed him to amass a disgustingly large fortune. It helped him gain immense power and influence. As you know, money can turn even the most honest people into selfish, heartless tyrants. However, this was not the case with Walton - he was a repulsive man long before he made his first big bucks.

As if that wasn't enough, he had a peculiar sense of humor and an almost pathological tendency to make terrible jokes. No wonder he didn't have many friends around him. He couldn't complain about the lack of enemies!

You are investigators. You arrive at his residence in the middle of the night. You have been summoned by the service on a "matter of urgency". As you cross the threshold of the lavish mansion, the landlady reveals the reason for the sudden call - the master of the house has been found dead in his study!

Interrogate Walton's guests, talk to the servants, investigate the crime scene, read the police reports. You can share your knowledge with your opponents in exchange for new information about the crime. The winner will be the person who solves the mystery of Walton's death and correctly answers the questions: Who killed Walton? Why did he kill him? What killed him? Did he have an accomplice?
