Layers of multi-part paper:

• CB Coated Back – giving back the original” it is self-copying paper, i.e. the top sheet of the set, the bottom surface of which is covered with a coating of micro caps
with a writing dye and means protecting against uncontrolled damage to the caps

• CFB Coated Front and Back – accepting – returning”, i.e. the middle layer of the set. It is a self-copying paper which is made by coating the bottom layer with a coating of microcapsules and the top layer with a special emulsion, the so-called developer. The copying effect can be achieved by mechanical pressure – pen, dot matrix printer head, typewriter. As a result of pressure, a dye is released from the microcapsules, which penetrates into the absorbing layer of the next carbonless CFB or CF paper. The result is a clearly visible imprint that leaves a permanent mark on the paper
