carcassonne is a famous city in France, known for its extensive fortifications erected in antiquity and the Middle Ages. Surrounded by impressive walls, the fortress is still one of the most characteristic buildings in the country. During the game, players must develop the land around carcassonne. They will place their minions on roads, cities, monasteries and fields. Only players who place their minions best will earn the points needed to win.

Includes the base game, two large expansions ("Inns and Cathedrals" and "Merchants and Builders") and nine small ("Abbot", "River", "Flying Machines", "Ferries", "Curiers", "Gold Mines", "Mag and Witch", "Bandits" and "Crop Circles").
