Macao Junior Card Game - Game Rules

Makao's rules are very simple - read the entire gameplay.

I. Game Goal Macao Junior

The object of the game is to get rid of all your cards as quickly as possible in each round. Whoever does it first wins

II. Preparation for the Macao Junior Game

1. The youngest player starts the game.

2. The dealer shuffles the deck

and gives 5 cards to each player.

3. The rest of the cards in the deck make up

DRAW STACK.

4. We reveal the first card from the DRAW STACK and start the game.

III. Makao Junior Game Flow

For the revealed card, the so-called PLAY STACK The next player (left of the dealer) throws a card from his pool:

- the card has the same number and pet,

- the card has the same color,

- ACTION card

(+1, +2, STOP, CHANGE COLOR).

IV.Makao Junior gameplay example

There is a green four on the PLAY PILE, the next player can throw: any green card, a four of any color, a "+1" or "+2" or a "STOP" green card.

At any time during the game, any color can be played with a "COLOR CHANGE" card. The player who changes color has the right to determine in which color we continue the game.

If a player has no card to play, they must draw a card from the DRAW PACK. If the drawn card matches the one in the PLAY PILE, the player plays it in the same round. However, when the card does not match, the player pauses and the turn goes to the next person.

After the penultimate card is played, the player

has to shout "MACAO". If he doesn't and another player notices, the caught person draws two cards from the DRAW PACK as a penalty and the game continues.

The round ends when one player has no cards left.

If there are no cards in the DRAW STACK, shuffle the cards from the PLAY STACK and continue playing.

V. Macao Junior ACTION CARDS ( function cards )

Card +2 

If a player places this card, the next player must draw two cards from the DRAW PACK as a penalty and lose their turn. This card is placed on a card of the same suit or another card +2".

Tab +1

Has the same function as "+2", only we draw one card.

STOP card (UFO)

If a player places this card, the next player loses their turn and has a stop. It can be placed on any card of the same color or another "STOP" card.

1. You need playing cards (e.g. a deck of 52 cards) and several players. You can play in multiplayer or as a duo.
2. Each player is dealt eight cards. The rest of the cards are placed on the table to form a deck. One card is revealed from the deck, which creates a faceup pile.
3. The starting player places any card of the same suit or face on the tableau as the card on the tableau. If a player does not have a matching card, he must draw one card from the deck. • Express rule: If a player has a hand of an eight and a card of the same suit or face as the card on the table, he can lay both cards at once by saying "express". The player who played the express decides which color will be used for the rest of the game.
• "Double express" rule: If a player has a hand of two eight and two cards of the same suit or face as the card on the table, he can lay down all four cards at once by saying "double express". The player who played the double express decides which color will be used for the rest of the game.
• Rule of "reveal": If a player does not have a matching card, he may reveal one of the cards in his hand and put it on the table if it matches the game. The player must name the face up card so that other players know what they have in their hand. If a player does not have a suitable card to play, they must draw one from the deck or face up pile.

• Five Card Macao: This version of the game is similar to the standard Macao game, but players are dealt five cards at the start of the game instead of eight. The rest of the rules are the same.
